After-school programs

Onsite, ongoing classes meet for 75-90 minutes before or after school.  Ingredients are all seasonal, organic and locally sourced whenever possible. Students learn to self-nourish, develop a heightened awareness of food, knife skills and recipe creation. All classes incorporate language arts, math and science skills. Each student designs and makes a cookbook including all recipes. Clients can choose from these established curricula, or Nancy will develop a new curriculum to fit specific needs.

The food was creative, delicious and healthy. We learned the correct and efficient ways to cook and prepare a variety of foods. In addition, she taught us how to maximize the nutritional value of each vegetable. Another bonus to this class is how beautifully she interjected the spiritual aspects of each ingredient. She surprised us with personal touches to make my birthday more festive.
