When Nancy changed her diet and approach to food and eating she transformed her life by giving birth to her two daughters. A certified macrobiotic counselor and culinary medicine practitioner, Nancy guides people in improving their health and well-being through making informed diet and lifestyle choices. She integrates her wide-ranging skills and experience to craft and teach food awareness and culinary arts programs for children and adults. She is also a certified Yoga Alliance and Torah Yoga teacher. For twenty years before awakening to the power of food, Nancy was an editor and writer on lifestyle magazines.

Nancy holds a MS in Nutrition Education from American University and a BA in Political Science and Italian from Trinity College.  She attended the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She is a Kohenet ordained by the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute, a graduate of The Strengthening Health Institute in Philadelphia, PA, Jewish Spirituality Teacher Training and Yoga University (East Coast).
